Safety tips for the DRIVERS

Before the Ride:

  1. Verify Passenger Identity: Check the passenger’s name and profile photo (if available) in the app before allowing them to enter your vehicle.
  2. Keep Your Vehicle in Good Condition: Regularly maintain your vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Check brakes, tires, lights, and other essential components.
  3. Plan Your Routes: Familiarize yourself with the area and potential routes. Use GPS to plan the safest and most efficient routes.

During the Ride

  1. Follow Traffic Laws: Obey all traffic signals, speed limits, and other road regulations to ensure a safe driving environment.
  2. Minimize Distractions: Avoid using your phone or engaging in other distractions while driving. Use hands-free devices if necessary.
  3. Keep Doors Locked: Lock your doors when you are driving to prevent unauthorized access.
  4. Trust Your Instincts: If a passenger makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, trust your gut. You have the right to decline or end a ride if you feel threatened.
