Open the Powercabs app and enter your destination in the “Where to?” field. Choose the type of cab that fits your needs. Confirm your pickup location and tap “Confirm Now.”
Once you’ve booked a ride, you can track your driver’s location in real-time on the app. The app will show the estimated arrival time along with your driver’s details and vehicle information.
Double-check the pickup location shown in the app. You can call or message your driver directly via the app if you need help locating them.
Your registered payment method will be charged automatically after your ride. You can update or add new payment methods in the app.
Yes, after your ride, you’ll be prompted to rate your driver. You can also leave a tip directly through the app if you’d like.
If you encounter any problems, you can report the issue in the profile/settings “Get in touch” section of the app, and our customer support team will assist you.
We are here to help, Calling your driver to connect is the best way to retrieve an item you may have left in a vehicle. If you have not tried contacting your driver directly, Go to our website and under contact us section there is form “Lost an item report”. Please share some details there and a support staff member will be in touch with you. Please note that drivers are independently licensed private hire drivers. Neither Powercabs nor drivers are responsible for the items left in a vehicle after a trip ends. We’re here to help, but cannot guarantee that a driver has your item or can immediately deliver it to you.

Trip prices are determined by both distance and time, along with any additional charges that may apply. Please be aware that external factors like traffic or roadwork may influence the route and travel time, and in these situations, we may not be able to modify the fare.

The fares in Ireland are regulated by the National Transport Authority (NTA). The price shown in the app is an estimate to give you an idea of the final fare, which can vary based on the vehicle type, the actual final destination, and factors like the length of the trip, weather conditions, traffic, road closures, and market demand.

You can view fare details in the app’s service section, and a detailed breakdown of charges will be included in the email invoice you receive after your trip.

Initial charges when entering a taxi:

€4.20 between 08:00 and 20:00 from Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays)

€4.80 between 20:00 and 08:00 from Monday to Saturday, and all day on Sundays and public holidays

Extras:

€1 per additional passenger

€2 for bookings made via the app, in accordance with NTA rates

If a passenger cancels after you’ve accepted the ride, you may still be eligible for a cancellation fee if you start your journey towards the pick-up, Customer have option to change the mind but our smart algorithm check weather driver was close enough or rider change their mind at the last second, depending on these circumstances our app always ensure fair play policy for both the driver and Passenger and cancellation fees will based on these.
If a passenger leaves something in your vehicle, Please be kind enough as this can be you as a passenger, so its best practise if you have customer address or phone number always contact them first otherwise reach out to our support team as soon as you find them. We’ll take care of the rest. We might charge fee to the customer in some situations, so if it happens drivers will get paid to appreciate their service and cost regarding returning the belonging.

To boost your rating, focus on providing exceptional service—don’t reject offers as our system is designed in the way if you cancel too many trips you get less and less rides so only cancel when you are absolutely need to do so. To upload your driving license and ID, go to the PowerCabs Driver app, navigate to ‘Profile Settings,’ and select ‘Upload Documents.’ Follow the instructions for a clear image upload.
To update your phone number, go to ‘Profile Settings’ in the app and select ‘Edit Phone Number.’ Enter your new number and verify it with the code we send you.
