Safety tips for the RIDERS

Before the Ride:

  1. Verify the Driver and Car: Always check the driver’s photo, car model, and license plate number against the information provided in the app before getting into the vehicle.
  2. Share Your Trip: Use the app’s feature to share your trip details with a trusted friend or family member so they can track your journey in realtime.
  3. Choose Safe Pickup Locations: Opt for well-lit and populated areas for both pickup and drop-off points whenever possible.

During the Ride

  1. Sit in the Back Seat: Sitting in the back provides personal space and an easy exit from either side of the vehicle.
  2. Wear Your Seatbelt: Ensure you are buckled up for your safety, regardless of where you are seated.
  3. Keep Conversations General: Avoid sharing personal information with the driver. Stick to general topics if you choose to converse.
  4. Follow Your Route: Monitor the route on your app to ensure the driver is following the expected path. Politely ask about any deviations.
  5. Trust Your Instincts: If you feel uncomfortable at any time, ask the driver to stop in a safe, populated area, and exit the vehicle.

After the Ride:

  1. Rate Your Driver: Provide honest feedback and ratings to help improve the safety and service of the ride-hailing platform.
  2. Report Issues Promptly: If anything unusual or uncomfortable happens, report it to the ride-hailing service immediately.
